Are you sick of the old Steve skin in Minecraft? Do you want to look like Xephos, Honeydew, Israphel, or even…Herobrine? Then pay attention.
There are a few things that you have to do in order to change your skin. Follow these steps and you’ll be fine.
(FIRST OFF: If you haven’t purchased Minecraft then don’t bother. You can’t download skins without a premium account)
Step 1: If you don’t know what skin you want or if you do but don’t already have the file then go to this site: http://www.minecraftskins.com/. Here you can browse through different skins and then download them to your computer.
Step 2: Choose a skin and click on the name above the image.
Step 3: You will see a demo showing exactly what your skin will look like. Go to the right hand side of the page and select download to computer (the “down” arrow)
Step 4: Select the file where you would like to save the image, don’t forget where you saved it. Easy peasy lemon squeezy.
Step 5: Go to http://www.minecraft.net/ and go to the top bar and select Profile (by the way, you do need an account and need to have purchased Minecraft in order to download a skin, as stated above)
Step 6: Scroll down to “Change Skin” and select “Choose File”
Step 7: Find the skin image that you downloaded before and select “Upload”
YOU ARE DONE!
Open Minecraft and check it out.
