Minecraft Tips #22/23 (209/365)

Hello everyone! This is a special double tip. There are two things in Minecraft that many people might not know.

First of all, did you know that milk has a purpose other than being used in cakes? First, a little history.

Milk was first incorporated into the game back in Alpha 1.0.8. It did not serve a purpose until Beta 1.2 when it was used as an ingredient for cakes. Notch gave it another use in Beta 1.8, the ability to cure poisons/potion effects.

Say you get poisoned with a potion of weakness or something, you can drink a bucket of milk and be right as rain instantly.

Healed! Milk will heal/fix any and all potion effects, positive or negative. It will also heal poison that comes from when a cave spider attacks you. So, it might be a good idea to have a bucket of milk when heading into an abandoned mine shaft. It will also heal poison from eating rotten flesh. Making milk and rotten flesh a good meal.

Next up, so, you know how if you look at an Enderman they will instantly become hostile towards you? Well, if you are wearing a pumpkin on your head, you can look at them and they won’t become hostile!

Do you like my pumpkin hat? Just place a pumpkin in the helmet slot of your armor inventory, and you are good to go.

Hey! Enderman! Over here! Look at me! I’m looking at you! What are you going to do about it, huh? You wanna go? Bring it on! *Punches Enderman* Haha! Oh crap…STAY AWAY FROM ME!!!

Unfortunately, pumpkins do not prevent Endermen from becoming hostile completely. You can just look at them now.

That’s all for today. I hope you found this tip useful. Thanks for reading and Happy Mining!
