Sun and Batman: The Untold Story (300/365)

Hello everyone! Today is a monumental day for this blog. First of all, this is our 300th post of our
365 project. 300 days ago, Tyler and I began a task which would prove to be quite the challenge, but also quite rewarding. What started as a little blog by two high school seniors who were obsessed with Minecraft, has turned into something different. And so now we have only 66 days left in the year.

The other reason that today is a monumental day for The Block Brothers, is that we have accomplished our latest goal. Today, we got 1,000+ views. About 5 months ago, we were thrilled with just 70 views in a single day. It’s really quite astounding how much our blog has grown in just the last 3 months, let alone the entire year.

So, from Tyler and I, thank you all so much for checking out our blog. You guys are the reason that we didn’t give up this project so long ago. If nobody came to this blog, we would have no reason to write posts, and The Block Brothers would have died several months ago.

As a special thank you to our readers, and as a celebration to accomplishing 300 posts, today’s post will be unlike anything we have done before, and we hope you enjoy it.

So today we are going to do a minor interview with our Minecraft characters, SunBurntIcarus aka Sun, and John_Locke_4(Batman). We are going to start by asking some routine questions about our characters, and we will see where it goes from there.

Announcer: Hello everyone, my name is Steve, and welcome to a very special interview today. Today we decide to introduce the stars of the Block Brothers…. Sun and John! So, let’s start with John.

.

.

John: Please, Steve, call me Batman.

.

.

Steve: Ok, Batman, when did you first move to Minecraftia?

.

.

.

Batman: Well, I moved to Minecraftia over twenty years ago with my parents. We had a good life. My father worked in the diamond mines, my mother tended the crops, and I was to focus on my schooling. However, when I was about eight or so, my parents were brutally murdered by a skeleton on the way home from town. Since then, I’ve been living with my butler. When I was about eighteen or so, I decided to leave town and take revenge upon the skeletons.

Steve: Well, that’s a bit depressing, and a wonderful way to open up our show. Anyways, if you would all like, we will be passing a basket throughout the audience, collecting money for the survivors of mob attacks. So, let’s move onto Sun then shall we? Sun, how long have you lived in Minecraftia?

.

.
Sun: To be honest, I don’t really know. I remember moving here about ten years ago, but my carriage to Minecraftia was attacked by some griefers, and I was left stranded in a forest. I took up a hermit lifestyle. I lived with a family of ocelots. We had a good few years, hanging out in the jungle, climbing trees, and sleeping. I started acting like one. After a skeleton killed my entire family, except for myself obviously, I was alone for a while. One night when I was cornered by a group of the skeletal bastards, this guy in a dark costume showed up and saved my life. He said his name was Batman. I’ve been traveling with him ever since.

.

Steve: That’s nice to hear. Now, onto Batman again. Batman, even though skeletons killed your parents, why do you have an obsession with killing every last one of them?

.

.

Batman: Isn’t it obvious?

.

.

.

Sun: Oh no, here he goes again.

.

.

.

Batman: BECAUSE I’M BATMAN!

.

.

.

Sun: You see what you did? You just encouraged him.

.

.

.

Batman: Well…I am Batman

.

.

.

Steve: That definitely wasn’t what I was expecting.

.

.

.

Sun: Yeah well, I have to deal with this again.

.

.

.

Batman: I’M BATMAN

.

.

.

Sun: Yes, yes, we know. It’s okay. They get it.

.

.

.

Steve: Is he okay?

.

.

.

Sun: Who knows? He seems to have some obsession with saying that he’s Batman. I think it’s some sort of psychological disorder.

.

.

Batman: I’m not crazy, my mother had me tested!

.

.

Sun: Sure she did.

.

.

.

Steve: Anyways, back to the program. Why did you decide to write stories about your adventures?

.

.

.

Sun: Well, to be honest, Batman decided it. I just kind of follow his lead.

.

.

.

Batman: A while ago I came up with the idea of cataloguing my adventures. I figured that people would like to read stories about a hero, one that Minecraftia deserves, but not the one it needs. Plus, I could use some money for my skittle addiction.

.

.

Sun: You’re definitely not the one we need.

.

.

.

Batman: Yes, but the one you deserve… It’s complicated.

.

.

.

Steve: Ok then, well what is your favorite thing about Minecraftia?

.

.

.

Batman: Isn’t it obvious?

.

.

.

Sun: Here he goes again…

.

.

.

Batman: Bats. You know why?

.

.

.

Sun: *sigh*

.

.

.

Batman: BECAUSE I’M BATMAN!

.

.

.

Steve: No offense, but I think you should get tested again.

.

.

.

Sun: Trust me, I know.

.

.

.

Steve: Now, this one is set towards Sun. Would you say that, given your past experiences, you are drawn towards having multiple cats as pets?

.

.

Sun: Well, yeah. I mean I lived with a family of them. Why wouldn’t I love them. Besides they’re so CUTE~! Batman doesn’t like them as much. There’s a funny story involved.

.

.

Steve: Really? Do tell.

.

.

.

Sun: Well, we used to live together in a house by the sea, but apparently having a dozen cats in a three room house is too much. I would like to disagree.

.

.

Batman: Well, come on! A dozen cats? I would have been fine with one or two, but any more than that is too much. Now, a dozen bats on the other hand would have been alright.

.

.

Sun: Batman, you’ve got a problem.

.

.

.

Batman:  My parents are dead!

.

.

.

Sun: Yeah, well you killed my cats!

.

.

.

Batman: Like I said, if they were  Bats then we wouldn’t have had a problem…and do you know why?

.

.

.

Steve: Ok, this interview is over! Cut the show!

.

.

.

Batman: BECAUSE I’M ……..
.
