New Computer, Server, Island, and Adventure Map (196/365)

Hey everyone! It has been a very very good day. This morning, I not only bought a new laptop but I also bought advance tickets for the midnight showing of The Dark Knight Rises. You could say that I am more than excited right now.

New laptop. It is an HP Pavilion. I love it.

Of course, with a new laptop, comes many more changes. For one, I did now keep all of my old saves from my previous computer. I realize that I could have but it is actually nice to have a fresh start. But, what I didn’t realize at the time is that I deleted my island that I spent a long time working on. That made me sad when Tyler reminded me. But we are now rebuilding the island and making it a whole lot better!

This is the area that we are starting to build the island.

We connected the two islands and made a much bigger island. The area on the left is sort of a garden area, very nice and peaceful. The area on the right will be for a giant mansion. We may extend that area a bit.

Here is the area on the left. I think it looks quite nice. Of course, I didn’t make any of this. All the credit goes to Tyler.

And I say “we” because Tyler and I started a new server. We still have our old server which runs on Riley’s computer but we now started a new one that is actually running on my old computer. Now that I don’t need to run the server and play on it on the same computer it runs a whole lot faster with almost no lag. It’s wonderful. And, do you know what that means? We can do LOST videos now!!! Sorry, nerd moment there.

So Tyler and I are rebuilding the island there. It’s gonna be great. I also started a new Singleplayer world in which I am going to make a giant fortress. Hopefully, it’s going to look really nice. I am going to try to make a post on it tomorrow. Then I will have a mod review up on Monday.

This is the singleplayer world that I will be working with. Trust me, it will look better once I get started.

The last little bit of news for today is about a new adventure map that Tyler found a few days ago. Hopefully, we can try it out soon. Here is a video about the map.
